Belstaff Summer 2013 Runway Show at New York Fashion Show
NEW YORK – English designer, Martin Cooper recreated his best archives from over the years for his Belstaff Spring 2013 collection during New York Fashion Week. Cooper delivered the classic trialmaster jacket to the runway along with motocross designs, thick stripes, tough jumpsuits and soft neutral colors. Cooper’s idea was to take the masculine heritage and feminize the look without sacrificing its style, in which he achieved a more romantic style. The runway was filled with leather accents, cargo pockets, buckles, broad shoulders, large snap buttons, flowy skirts and detailed elbows. Popular hues of camel, grey, mostly white and some burgundy appeared on the catwalk as well. The motocross culture that inspired khaki mini skirt suits and wide armed dresses perfected the typical woman on the go.
