Giambattista Valli Couture Fall 2012 at Paris

PARIS – It was all about flowers for designer Giambattista Valli at Paris Couture Fashion Week, but it was more than just flowers. It was fairies, gardens, and magical moments — all of which he had plenty of in his Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collection. There were the eye popping red gowns covered with flowers and there were the green dresses that made models look like trees. Ruffles, floral prints, wraps of fabric, and lace leaves were just some of the magic created by this master couturier. Some of us wondered if we were in The Secret Garden come to life with gorgeous nature nymphs. Still, the fashion public wondered if Valli went over-the-top here with his floral frenzy. That’s up to our FashionTV fans to decide.
