Armani Prive Fall 2012 at Paris

PARIS – A dusk-till-dawn backdrop set the theme for the Fall/Winter 2012-13 Armani Prive fashion show at Paris Couture Fashion Week. The collection opened with a softer, more romantic take on tailored trousers with the use of silk velvets and loose shapes. Stylist Reuben Cheok, noted there being three different sections of the collection all of which have their own style, season, pattern and design. As a star-lit backdrop presented itself, the runway was flooded with evening wear including bustier dresses, floor-length gowns and jumpers. The collection transitioned from soft, sunrise-esq pastels to midnight blues and blacks. Crystal-encrusted veils adorned each look while also adding a hint of mystery to the collection. The masculine tailoring paired with the fluidity of the luxurious fabrics and feminine silhouettes created a beautifully harmonious collection.
