Cacharel Fall 2012 Modern 1920s

PARIS – The newish Creative Directors of Cacharel, Ling Liu and Dawei Sun certainly know what they’re doing when it comes to craftsmanship. Their details were brimming with intricacies and their menswear-infused womenswear had a flair the likes which Cacharel has never seen. The dresses were infused with a cool zigzag print and yes, still somehow masculine in their structure. The cloches added a 1920s appeal, but the collection was still modern overall because we’re not so sure the ladies of that era would have worn so many bold patterns. Still, it worked. A crystal theme marked the bluish hues amidst the zig zags and the color and texture seemed to work well together.
